Some days, everything flows effortlessly. Other days, no matter what we do, nothing seems to move. We’ve all had days like that. Often, the difference isn’t strategy- it’s energy. Frequency coaching helps us notice the lens through which we see life - the energy, thoughts, and beliefs that shape our behaviours. It’s about understanding our perception and the emotions that follow, which influence how we show up. its internal work and not at all external work. By questioning this lens, we move from autopilot to conscious living, aligning inner self to who we truly are. Our Lens Shapes Our Reality We all see the world through our own lens, shaped by past experiences, beliefs, and energy. These lenses influence how we react, make decisions, and relate to others. Frequency coaching helps us notice these patterns, using assessments from the Energy Leadership Index from the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (where I trained), and shift our lens to operate from higher energy and awareness. The Maps We Use We use frameworks like the Map of Consciousness (Power vs. Force) and the Energy Leadership® Map (iPEC - Institite of Professional Excellence in Coaching) to make energy visible. The seven energy levels in the Energy Leadership® Map are: Victim / Conflict (Level 1): Feeling powerless, blame, frustration Judgment / Avoidance (Level 2): Criticism, resistance, reactivity Concern / Responsibility (Level 3): Taking responsibility, cautious optimism Reconciliation / Collaboration (Level 4): Cooperation, problem-solving, flexibility Abundance / Opportunity (Level 5): Visionary thinking, empowered action Synthesis / Integration (Level 6): Innovation, high engagement, influence Absolute / Visionary (Level 7): Inspiration, peak performance, purpose-driven impact By seeing where our energy usually sits and recognizing our lens, we can shift limiting patterns and move to higher energy states. This allows us to think more clearly, create more freely, and interact with others with ease. Why It Matters Frequency coaching is not about “thinking positive.” It’s about noticing our habitual energy, experiencing that emotion fully, naming it, processing it then allowing ourselves to release it and raising ourselves intentionally. Operating from higher energy states means: Making decisions with ease & surrender, not force or fear Leading with presence & pause, not rush Experiencing more creativity, flow, and fulfillment from within Feeling happiness & Joy despite the challenges - what's the point of life without it? Who Can Benefit Leaders and professionals seeking conscious performance Anyone feeling on autopilot or feels like a victim to life People who feel their potential is yet to be tapped Some simple Practices to Shift Our Energy Here are some powerful ways we can rise to higher energy states: Spending the first hour of the morning right: Sunlight, gratitude, journaling, stretching, scribbling thoughts Mirror affirmations & self-talk to set a positive tone for the day Box breathing & physiological sighs – 5 minutes anytime to reset energy Uplifting music – listening to binaural beats, 528 Hz frequencies, or any music that is calming to the heart Observing nature – the sky, plants, trees, animals, or pets around us Stillness of mind through body scan meditation Grounding feet on the earth to connect with nature Visualization & mental imagery of possibilities we want to create Use of Power Pose to instantly feel confident in ourselves Reframing Negative Thoughts - to a higher way of seeing & realizing it (finding the hidden gifts in the struggle). Sometimes, something happens that hurts you—words, actions, moments beyond your control. And before you know it, your mind starts replaying the past, looping through endless thoughts that lead nowhere. Like running a mental marathon with no finish line. Overthinking drains your energy, disconnects you from your intuition, and makes you act from fear instead of truth. But here’s what we don't see—overthinking can be addictive. I t keeps the mind busy, giving a false sense of control. Replaying moments on repeat yet in reality, keeping you feel busy, like an addiction of thoughts. But overthinking isn’t just about thoughts—it’s about frequency. The state of your mind affects the state of your energy. The more you overthink, the heavier your energy becomes, trapping you in the same emotions, the same cycle. But clarity, intuition, and ease exist in a higher state. So how do you break free? You don’t fight overthinking—you shift your energy. You shift your focus. - Redirect your attention —Recall a joyful moment—a loved one’s laughter, a time you felt truly happy. - Move your body —Stretch, shake off tension, take a walk. Movement shifts energy instantly. - Breathe intentionally —Slow inhales, longer exhales. Your breath is a bridge between your thoughts and your energy. - If that feels difficult, shift to your surroundings —Feel the air, notice the sky, observe your breath. - Engage your senses —The warmth of your coffee, the rhythm of your heart, the sounds around you. - Connect with nature —Step outside, touch the earth, feel the sunlight. Nature naturally resets your energy. Every time you find yourself spiraling, don’t just try to ‘think less.’ Shift—intentionally. Recognize overthinking for what it is—a mental habit, not a solution. Awareness breaks the cycle. Each time your mind spirals, shift—intentionally. Overthinking drains your power. Awareness brings it back. Breathe. Trust. Let go. And Shift your Focus.
